FUSION POLARIZED RC MODEL GLASSES
The
Fusion is our latest addition to the Model Glasses range. Using the
original, and ever popular, Expert frame, Fusion swaps the orange lens
for a polarized grey mirror option. Some of the main features are:
- lightweight, wrap-around frame
- Frame made from a tough TR90 composite
- 3 x interchangeable lens sets for different light conditions
- Lenses have vent cut-outs for anti-fogging
- Adjustable nose clip
- Carry case, cleaning cloth and head / neck securing strap included as standard
The Frames
Finished
in a highly attractive matte black and orange color scheme, the frames
have rubberized tips for comfort. Being extremely light, and thanks to a
slight flex that makes the sunglasses fit most sizes and shapes of head
well, Fusion are very comfortable to wear. The frame is made from TR90,
a plastic composite material famous for being virtually bullet-proof
and thus superior to the more common polycarbonate.
The Fusion frame benefits from an adjustable rubber nose clip, which
can be narrowed or widened to exactly fit the wearer's requirements
The Lenses
Made
from an extremely robust and impact resistant polycarbonate, all lenses
bundled with the Fusion are made to very high optical standards. Three
sets of lenses are provided as standard, and these are as follows:
- Category 0, light-enhancing. For use on dull or cloudy days
- Category 2, beige polarized. For use on fairly bright or changeable days
- Category 3, grey polarized mirror for use on bright / sunny days
All
lenses supplied with Fusion are anti-scratch coated, and de-centered,
which means the possible distorting effects of placing a curved lens in
front of your eyes are calibrated out at the manufacturing stage.
All
lenses filter out blue light, which improves the definition of the
aircraft in your field of view. Polarized lenses remove glare from
clouds, covered wings etc. by filtering out horizontal light. Please
note: Polarized lenses can make it harder to read your transmitter
screen. We therefore recommend you do not wear the sunglasses whilst
making pre-flight adjustments to trims etc.
The Package
Fusion
are supplied with a lint-free cleaning cloth, head / neck securing
retainer and carry case as standard. The case has internal pouches for
storing the extra lenses, plus a belt fixing catch and loops, making for
easy access to your sunglasses when you need them in a hurry.
Conformity and UV
All of All Sports sunglasses eye wear sunglasses conform to the US ANSI Z-80 and the new ISO 12311 and 12312 standards for
sunglasses and protective equipment testing. This standard has now
replaced EN1836 in the European Union. They offer 100% UV A and UV B (UV400)
protection.
Additional Lens Options
We are pleased to offer additional lenses for those who want to make their Fusion sunglasses even more versatile.
Our
clear, impact resistant un-tinted lens set makes Fusion ideal for use as
safety glasses when a tint is not required - it is also useful for
keeping the wind and cold out when necessary. Despite having no tint,
this lens set is still 100% UV protected, and has vent cut-outs.
We
are also offering the original red and blue 'Revo' style Frostech
lenses that will give your sunglasses a different look (note: these
lenses are not polarized).
The
green mirror lens set has been specifically designed for golf - through
cutting blue light, it features superb definition and contrast on the
course, allowing you to read the terrain and greens far better.
